The Crown Poker Room has upped the ante with the introduction of the Joe Hachem Deepstack Series 3, adding more value for money than ever before. This popular Championship has proven to be a perfect training ground for the Aussie Millions, a quick look at the schedule tells you why.

With 12 official championship events ranging from the $120 Pokerpro Shootout, to the $1650 Short Handed Shootout, there is something on offer for everyone.  Start banks vary from event to event with the smallest being 10,000 and largest 50,000!

Some additions to the schedule this time around are the Triple Chance Format, where players start with one third of their start bank up-front and 2 “rebuy” cards they can use to take the additional two thirds at any stage during the first two levels.  It is a great way to take some risks early and ensures an enjoyable event for all.  The format will be used for both the $230 Pot Limit Omaha (15k start bank) as well as the $1100 6 Max No Limit Holdem (30k start bank).

After a drought of HORSE events at the last 2 Crown Championships, mixed game specialists will not be disappointed with the introduction of the $550 7 Game Mixed event.  Combining all of the Limit HORSE variations in Holdem, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud and Stud Hi-Lo, with the addition of Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Holdem, this tournament is not to be missed.  The Champion of this event can truly be called the best all round poker player.

The Main Event has stayed at the affordable price of $550 and remains arguably the best value-for-money tournament in the world.  The start bank and structure is almost identical to the Aussie Millions Main Event, however with shorter level durations.  It will again include the Repechage format for Flight 3, however this time the Repechage flight will also be open to new players!  A huge field is expected for this event, and with the 2010 Aussie Millions just around the corner it is not to be missed.  It really is the perfect training ground.

Online registration for all events will open on Sunday November 1st.
