Tournament Calendar Results
The Aussie Millions Poker Championship is held every year in January at Crown Casino, Melbourne Australia.
The 2011 championship saw 20 official events on the schedule, culminating in the AUD$10,600 No Limit Holdem Main Event and a first place prize of AUD$2 million.
The 2012 event is set to be bigger than ever with 26 official events, the return of the $100K Challenge and an estimated total prize pool of AUD$20 million.
Dubbed as one of the 'greatest poker championships in the Asia Pacific' by its prominent and most notable international guests, the APPT is one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most prestigious poker tournaments. Crown was proud to host the event in 2011 for the very first time.
The Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) is a series of major poker tournaments in its second season conducted throughout the Australia and New Zealand region. Tournaments have been held in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Canberra, Queenstown, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Darwin. The ANZPT is a true indicator of the best players in the region.
The Melbourne Poker Championship is run under Crown's famous repechage format, where players can re-enter subsequent flights if they have been eliminated from an earlier flight.
The ever popular Joe Hachem Deepstack Series returned to Crown in November 2011, for it’s eighth instalment. The tournament is designed to give players a chance to hone their Deepstack, Championship style play without blowing their entire bankrolls.
